Meet Dr. Sheng Lu

Dr. Nayab Khan is a proud Madison native and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She went on to NYU College of Dentistry for dental school, and completed her post-grad education at Lincoln Medical Center, in Bronx, NY.

Meet Dr. Nayab Khan

She's a member of the American Dental Association and thrives on ongoing education of her craft. Dr. Khan believes people deserve a personalized approach to dental care that listens, seeks to understand, and always puts our patients first.

While not in the office, Dr. Khan enjoys outdoor activities such as paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, and learning to sail (one day!). She's a travel enthusiast and a self-described adventurous eater. Just ask her about the craziest thing she's ever eaten!

Originally from Iowa City, Iowa, Dr. Sheng Lu was inspired to pursue dentistry after seeing his parents experience dental pain and wanting to help improve their quality of life. Along the way, he discovered a deep appreciation for both the art and science of dentistry.

Dr. Lu earned his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Iowa. He then went to to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at East Carolina University, where he further refined his clinical skills and patient-centered approach.

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Lu has completed more than 100 hours of continuing education since graduation, ensuring his patients benefit from modern, high-quality, and thoughtfully delivered dental care.

Outside the office, Dr. Lu enjoys traveling with his wife, exploring new restaurants, and cooking at home. He also loves spending time with his golden retriever, Loki, and his tabby cat, Cafe—and taking full advantage of everything the Madison area has to offer (especially ice cream and cheese curds).
